What Do You Enjoy the Most About Being a Musician?

Last month, as a part of a competition I asked 400+ musicians what they loved the most about being a musician. Whilst looking through the responses I realised I had accidentally curated some insanely inspirational perspectives. I decided to put them into this poster, which I hope inspires you as much as it did me, enjoy!

Can't believe there are no comments for this. I have d/l it and made it the bground on my laptop, where I do most of my online stuff.
I think it's brilliant and inspiring - thankyou very much for this Marcus.

Nice poster. And not one mention of money. Unsurprising, though. Few of us make a living wage from music, which thankfully weeds out many breadheads early on. Trouble is, our passion for music makes us vulnerable.

There are plenty of exploitative sociopaths who measure true worth in dollars rather than in human terms. If they find a talented someone for whom money is not the motivator, it's a relative cinch to bleed them dry. But what the hey.

I'd rather have a life full of music and unpaid bills than a soulless existence only troubled by the effort of deciding what to buy next. That, and chicks digging what I do :)

Loved this!
I saw someone put "fame and money", if they only expect that I'm not sure its what they should be doing!

What I enjoy the most is after Ive written/recorded a song,,the public reviews + opinions of what they hear mean the most to me. Money? HA! there seems to be a lock on that these days, not like it used to be,where if you had a attractive song/melody ,,you actually had a decent chance to get somewhere with it. But Not today. Thank goodness for tunecore and the online music outlets,,an artists can now reach the globe without the rec company,,execs ect. The overall bad economy doesnt help things either. IMHO.
