Per Google Analytics, Music Think Tank is now attracting (months of October and November 2009), around 1,000 visitors a day. MTT Radio is one of the most popular journals on the site.

Based upon our analysis of our traffic, we believe that our audience is comprised of humans that 1) either make music, or 2) work within this industry. We have not noticed, nor do we anticipate (or want) consumer traffic directed to this site.

Music Think Tank does not generate revenue. You are posting a song purely for your own benefit. We have no idea if any artist has or will benefit from the MTT Radio pages. Like a lot of things in this industry, the possibility of you being discovered here would be purely random.

More than a few artists don't categorize or tag their song posts. Which partly explains why the categories are sparsely populated. I don't think many artists realize how many people actually click into the MTT radio pages.. It's more than a few!

Hi, Good articles, thanks for existing.

The Radio page says 20,000 industry visitors/month. Can you go into more detail on what this is based on?
* how is someone identified as an industry visitor
* does it apply to just the radio page, or does that number apply the site in general.
* the radio page seems sparsely populated right now, many categories have just one song. What is driving the 20K industry visitors to the radio page?

Thanks, and sorry for the pointed questions. This appears to be a very up front and thoughtful site, just want to make sure I understand the claims that are posted.

Hi,

Love the content.

I was hoping you'd create a PRINT style for the web site. I usually like to read the posts off-line and they NEVER format properly---try it you'll see what I mean; the print out is a complete disaster.

The good news is that iIt shouldn't be too much work for your web designer to create a 'Print' style for people like me.

TIA,

---JC
