The tribute song ‘We Will Remember Them’ recorded in memory of British soldiers wounded at war is now available to stream for free on we7. The track, fronted by Bee Gee veteran Robin Gibb and heartthrob, Michael Bolton, was recorded during a session at London’s Abbey Road studios and also features singers Mica Paris, Ex-Atomic Kittens, Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon, BBC’s Any Dream Will Do winner, Lee Mead and Free and Queen lead man, Paul Rodgers.

All profits raised from the single will go to charities ‘Help for Heroes’ and the ‘Royal British Legion’ with we7 contributing a donation each time the song is streamed on its site. The track, written by Whitesnake’s Robert Hart and A1 star Mark Read, can be listened to for free on we7 here.

we7’s digital music manager, Colin Rice, comments: “Britain’s troops do a fantastic job day in day out and we fully support any involvement to increase awareness and give them the recognition they deserve. It’s great that so many top artists are backing the cause and by streaming the track on we7 we aim to raise as much money for charity as possible while giving the nation’s music lovers access to the song at the same time”.
