Detroit, MI - FiXT Remix, the online music remix community, has just re-launched with a full site redesign and a Premier Remix Contest for indie electronic-rock artist Celldweller. The new site puts FiXT Remix in position to be a contender as the new premier online remix community.

Remixers can dive right in, with the just launched Celldweller “Louder Than Words” contest which features over 65 remix stems. Participants can fight for the chance at over $5,000 in Prizes from FiXT, Cakewalk, FabFilter & Ohm Force along with the opportunity to be featured on an upcoming (TBA, 2010) Celldweller Remix Compilation release alongside such featured artists as Toksin and electronic music giant BT.

Fans and remixers alike can enjoy Free Downloads of all remixes from the contest during the open contest period, with a registered site account. Along with getting community recognition and contest prizes, artists can have the opportunity to be scouted by the FiXT Staff for Film/TV Licensing and Distribution through the FiXT Store.

About FiXT Remix:
FiXT Remix is a brainchild of Klayton, the artist, producer, programmer, performer, songwriter and remixer known as Celldweller. The remix competition and open-source attitude behind FiXT Remix started in 2000 at MP3.com, long before many of today’s mainstream artists and social networks began their own open calls for community remixes.

About Celldweller:
Celldweller, the versatile outlet of Klayton, delivers his vision of progressively combining multiple genres of music, fusing the electronics of drum & bass and techno, with rock and orchestral elements. Celldweller’s unique sound has captured the interest of the FIlm/TV Industry with such placements as “Surrogates,” “Ninja Assassin,” “Iron Man,” “Speed Racer,” “CSI” (Superbowl Spot), “Spider-man 2 & 3,” “Superman Returns,” and dozens more.

The latest Celldweller release “Wish Upon A Blackstar” Chapter 01 recently debuted in the Top 35 iTunes Electronic Albums. Fore more info on Celldweller, visit www.celldweller.com
