Trent Reznor's Survey: Analysis & Discovery

I am not a Nine Inch Nails fan.

I would have never known about Trent Reznor’s survey to his fans if Bob Lefsetz and Bruce Houghton hadn’t posted about it both here and here respectfully.

The Magic is Gone

You don’t know who I am. I have no music industry credentials. Yet I’ve decided to post something here. You see, I’m a big fan of music, and I especially love finding new unknown bands that I like, because the industry as a whole has left me feeling hollow and empty inside. We’ve had DRM dropped, Amazon moving into the space and the ongoing saga that is MySpace music now finally emerging with some real news.

The story of limbo after Graduation

Joey graduated from a school specializing in music and production. He got a full entertainment business degree from the school, and came out with aspirations of running his own business and making a lot of money while helping out artists get what they need. He waited a month after graduation and got a great internship from an indie label, but it was non paid. Joey loved the job but he needed to pay rent.
