Attend Major A&R Listening Session at Sony Music NYC

Artists, Song Writers, and Producers of all genres of music, this is your exclusive and rare opportunity to showcase the SINGLE BEST song or video clip of your live performance to get heard and discovered by executive A&R’s of JIVE/ RCA/ SONY MUSIC and BMI. These A&Rs have the power to immediately sign a Recording Contract with you.


Submission Timeline: Submissions start on September 21st and end on December 21st.


Reviewing Process: All Submissions will be reviewed November 17th, 2011 - January 20th, 2012 by A&R Director, Kirk Lightburn, of Jive Records/Sony Music and Kal Nwaneri Writer, Producer for Will Smith, Biz Markie, MYA, DefJam, Bad Boy, Interscope, Jive/RCA/ Sony Music, along with Sound and Image Showcase A&R staff. During this time you will also be able to receive feedback on your music submission.


Selection Process: On Monday January 23rd 2012 all chosen Artists and their music or video clip will appear on Sound and Image Showcase under our emerging and featured artist link. These artists will immediately receive exposure via mass media and the executives at JIVE / RCA/ SONY MUSIC.


Listening Session Details: On February 3, 2012 between the hours of 5pm and 8pm Kal Nwaneri will host a one on one meeting and listening session with all artists selected and Executive A&Rs at Sony Music Headquarters.
