Joy with your sorrow - By Ben Webb

Ben Webb is A singer/songwriter from the east coast of Australia,

who mixes pop sensibilities with a fusion of Jazz, R&B and Reggae.

At 25 years old, he has wowed audiences up and down the east coast of Australia

with songs from his Debut EP release “sketches, photographs and the occasional song.”

Involved with music for as long as he can remember, it took two bouts of Bells Palsy (facial paralysis) on each side of his face for Ben to realise that life is what you make of it. Ben’s songs hit like a heartbeat, taking influence from musical iconography and mixed with a heart full of love and a life full of passion.

Head over to www.benwebbmusic.com to check out his whole EP and Download a free acoustic covers album.. or check out his official releases on Itunes.

Where You Were by Miles

Where You Were- Miles

Miles’ music is all about forward motion, a factor amply illustrated by the blurred car lights pictured on the band’s first full-length, As Fast as You Can. And much like those vehicles on that light-streaked highway, Miles is on a quest to illuminate dark paths, in search of the bright side of the road. The track “All Along” expresses this luminous desire perfectly.

Color Code by Lauren O'Brien

Color Code- Lauren O’Brien

The words come through your speakers. Tense words. Sharp words. Hypnotic words. Words couched in grinding guitars and thudding drums, words thick with emotional desperation that also reveal the strangely paradoxical beauty in suffering; the diamonds in the cave, waiting to be mined. The words are those of Lauren O’Brien, one of the most exciting young poet-performers on the scene today.

Lovesick by BUNKS

Lovesick by BUNKS

Ever wondered what Simon and Garfunkel on crunk juice ridin’ around in a drop top 6-4 with the Beastie Boys sounds like?

The BUNKS have been Bringing Unmatched Noise Knowledge and Sound since the tender age of 10 but this force decided to turn to music full-time in 1999.  Recently chosen as The Murfreesboro Pulse’s Featured Artist for the month of April and taking 3rd place in Daily News Journal and BoroParty.com’s Battle of the Bands, this duo is just getting started.  When they aren’t performing on-stage or writing and recording, Smo and Gro spend their time consulting with independent artists who are trying to navigate their way through the music business.

Resemblance by Subanez

Resemblance- Subanez

“Bing. Bang. Ding. One dead. The other shot.” These words would haunt Kevin Auger and become a catalyst for his life and music.

Kevin Auger, A.K.A. Subanez, is a one man alternative metal band with modern rock under pinnings. Subanez is a study of the human condition. The music is Kevin’s attempt to understand and live in a world that can be extremely cruel and chaotic. As a shy child growing up in Portsmouth, NH, Kevin spent a lot of time alone. He’d take his bike out on a seemingly endless journey around town to avoid the stifling tension at home. From an early age, Kevin struggled with his need for a meaningful connection to others and his inability to find it.

Space Out by Million Dollar Mouth

Space Out- Million Dollar Mouth

Every musician aspires to do things their own way, but very few truly have it in their DNA. The boys and gal in Million Dollar Mouth, on the other hand, have been blessed with the right instincts. Equal parts stoner rock, Brit-pop, punk, and indie, with a pinch of electro thrown in for good measure, MDM gives full vent to every musical impulse in their collective soul, resulting in what Lollipop Magazine calls “stylistically kicking the crap out of The Strokes, while smoking Stone Temple Pilots’ cigarettes and listening to Marvelous 3.” With the panicKING, their second album on Atonal Records (the band’s own label), the LA-based quintet makes eclecticism and independent thinking respectable and cool again.
